Parking Lot Renovation

As you may have noticed, there has been some activity in our parking lot in recent weeks in preparation for renovating the lower parking lot in an effort to accommodate more parking as well as integrating a “kiss and drop” area.  This construction will begin Wednesday, September 7, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed in approximately 3 weeks.  Please see the attached site plan.  

During the construction, the parking lot will not be accessible.  The bus drop-off and pickup will temporarily take place at the corner of Westview Avenue and Dalewood Avenue and will be supervised by school staff.   I would also kindly ask that students who are driven and walkers access the school through Westview Avenue/Dalewood Avenue as well. 

Please note that no stopping signs were recently installed by the County of Brant on Dalewood Avenue which prohibits all vehicles on the street from September to June, 8 AM to 5 PM. In helping to keep all students safe, please park on Westview Avenue to access the school.

I recognize the temporary inconvenience that this may cause for some, but greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation while the work is being done to create a larger and safer parking lot for our school community.  In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office.
